Request for Qualifications for the 2023-2026 Bringing Everyone’s Strength Together (BEST) Grant Program

The San José Youth Empowerment Alliance (formerly known as the Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force) is seeking to qualify non-profit agencies to partner with the City of San José under the Bringing Everyone’s Strengths Together (BEST) Grant Program to implement prevention, intervention, diversion, reentry and healing strategies to address youth violence. 

Interested agencies are invited to attend a pre-proposal workshop to review critical information about the grant program and how to apply for this funding opportunity. Applicants are required to attend one (1) of the two identical informational sessions. The pre-proposal workshops are scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. (Passcode: 702999) and Thursday, February 23 from 2:00-4:00pm (Passcode: 559356) via zoom

Completed proposals can only be submitted on-line via WebGrants. Proposals must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS - 2023-2024 OPERATING GRANT

The City of San José Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Operating Grant (OpG) Program.

The OCA awards Operating Grants to a limited number of professionally managed San José arts and culture organizations with ongoing, year-round arts programming. The grants support general operating needs.

Applications will be accepted ONLY through WebGrants. Login and select Operating Grant FY2023-24 listed under Funding Opportunities.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2023 BY 5:00 PM

TAKE PART ARTS GRANTS NOW OPEN - DEALINE FEBUARY 6

take pART Grants are awarded to arts and culture organizations and other public benefit organizations to help finance specific arts and culture activities and programs that are participatory. Grantees are usually smaller artist-run groups or community arts organizations where creative participation is the key. Other public benefit organizations that apply to this program to support arts-specific activities.
